• Clever • Compassionate • Adaptable •
• Loyal • Perceptive • Secretive •
• Insecure • Stubborn • Short Temper •

Positive Description:
Marilyn's positive traits are Clever, Compassionate and Adaptable. These traits are her more prominent traits (with an exception to her short fuse) and can be often described as her strengths. Her cleverness allows her to quickly learn/absorb information and material and use it in turn to help her in any given situation. Marilyn is a extremely warm and friendly individual, often finding herself concerned with the well-being of others. She tries her best to help others no matter her situation and can be described as somewhat self-less. A few around her can describe her as someone who relies a lot upon her intellect as she was often thinking or devising new ideas in her former occupation. Due to her former lifestyle, Marilyn has learned that in order to survive that she must become adaptable to situations that affect her or others. And so, she has learned to become adaptable and is now quite flexible with many things.

Neutral Description:
Marilyn's neutral traits are Loyal, Perceptive and Secretive. These are her more subtle traits that really only show themselves in specific situations. It may not be entirely obvious at first but to those that Marilyn is attached to, she is extremely loyal to them. Her loyalty may stray across a few points where others might consider it too much but overall, she sticks close to those she trusts. Marilyn also has a knack for spotting or noticing things that others might miss. Things such as somewhat subtle body language cues or the flicker of movement that nobody else saw out of the corner of their eyes. You would think that such a friendly and companion-oriented feline would be open right? Unfortunately, Marilyn has a tendency to not disclose many or multiple details on various topics. Those topic's can range from pretty much anything but is most commonly the topic of how she is feeling.

Negative Description:
Marilyn's negative traits are Insecure, Stubborn and Short Temper. These are her mostly hidden traits that only make an appearance in specific situations (with an exception to her short fuse since it can be easily activated in any situation if the right words are said). It's very hard for others to tell because of her secretive nature but Marilyn is very very insecure about herself. Mari is extremely insecure about how others might perceive her, as she has heard whispers of others talking about how "clingy" she can be with certain individuals. She tries hard to not let it show, especially when someone indirectly or directs insults or hurts her feelings. Mari is also a extremely stubborn individual on certain matters and will make her opinion known forcefully or not if the matter concerns her. She will not easily change her mind once she has decided upon something. One of her more notable traits is her short temper. She can only handle certain individuals for very long before her temper comes out to play, resulting in a very different Marilyn that may unsettle anyone that happens to witness her in that moment.

Sin: Undetermined

Attack: "Marilyn performs a few feints at her opponent before dealing a decently powered strike!"
Description: If Marilyn rolls a 1-14 then she fails to deliver the final damaging strike at the end of her attack! If she rolls a 15-20 then she will succeed in delivering her damaging strike!

I don't know if this is needed but here's a warning in advance that this history mentions neglect.

Marilyn's start to life wasn't the greatest.

In fact, she was a complete accident on her parents part. If it hadn't been for her mother's maternal instincts that allowed her to nurse, then she probably wouldn't have been alive for the length of time that she had been.

A majority of her youth was spent lurking in the shadows of her older siblings, since they had been the planned children and she was the... mistake. Throughout this period in her life, she tried to prove to her parents that she was worth something. This sense that she had to prove her self-worth to others drove her into doing somewhat reckless and daring acts. Though she did refuse for a while to go further that her mostly harmless stunts for a while. But desperation changes people... and it changed her too.

Marilyn had been a year old when her stunts had taken on a darker side. If she couldn't earn even a simple glance her way through her previous harmless attempts then obviously it was time for something bigger. Her new plan of action was to force her parents into confronting her, to force them to pay attention to what their actions did to her. What they made her become. She had started off simple, a few sharp objects and items littered where her family lingered the most. A few nasty plants in their food somehow. Rotting food in places that they stuck around often. Sleeping areas completely destroyed. Things like that. And it was late one night when the big idea hit her. To kill someone and show her parents the corpse. It had sparked a light-bulb in her mind, starting up a torrent of thoughts that left her sleepless that night.

She had started to enact her next big move with numerous scouting trips to various areas near where she currently resided. Inspecting possible targets and other to choose from. Observing the area and its inhabitants so she could gauge their reactions to a degree if she committed such an act within one of their visuals and possible other things such as escape routes and more. She had been unaware of it at the time, but another feline had begun to shadow her wherever she went, watching her as she plotted. This had went on for a long while until the night she put her plan into action. She had been waiting in a well hidden location at midnight for her target when... they never came. Frustration arose in the molly as she had slipped out of her previous hiding spot, only to collide with something in front of her. She had been rather confused at first, stumbling backwards a bit to get a better look at the silent figure standing before her with a stern gaze. Confusion had turned to suspicion and anger which caused her to lash out at the other, claws flashing in the faint moonlight that never hit their mark. She had lunged forward in a clumsy fashion, clearly having no idea of how to properly fight and had crumpled to the ground in pile of flailing limbs. She remembered a snarl twisting her maw as she had turned to look at the other, only to have it halt at their words. The stranger had told her that what she had been planning on doing was not the right thing to do in her situation and that the path that resulted from such acts would be a dark one. A path with consequences that she would not even begin to fathom at that moment. The stranger had also spoken of wanting to help Marilyn as they had seen how she had been living for a while now and wanted to give the youth a better solution to the card that she had been dealt.

She could recall spitting back at the other in a fury, claiming that they had no right to tell her what to do with her life and that they were a liar to try and claim that they wanted to help her because at some point they were just going to abandon her like how her parents had. The youth had begun to weep as once buried emotions rose within her, now finally making their appearance as she blurted out every thought that came to mind. That she didn't need their pity or their sympathy. That she was fine the way she was living and that she didn't care about what her family thought about her. And as this happened, she knew without a doubt that every word coming out of her mouth had been a lie. She didn't know how long she had laid on the ground crying, but she falter a bit when she had felt a mitt poke her. She had looked up, surprise written on her features as clear as day that the stranger was still there, patiently waiting for her to get it all out of her system. She had shuffled into a sitting position after a while, wiping her face clean of salty tears as the other looked on, silence hanging thick around them.

It was then, when she was finally ready to listen that the stranger finally spoke. They spoke of how they had observed her living conditions as well as other things such as her family's treatment towards her and more. They had also spoken of various traits and talents that Marilyn had manifested over time such as her sharp observational skills and quick intellect. Good skills that were not being put to proper use given her current situation. The stranger then offered to show her another way of life, one vastly different from the one that she was currently living and would put these skills of hers to good use. Marilyn recalled asking if there was some sort of catch to this offer and had been startled to hear laughter from the other in response. After a brief chuckle, the stranger had replied with a simple no and that they simply saw Marilyn as someone with potential to do better things in a place that was keeping her trapped and unable to do so. After some time, Marilyn had finally agreed to the other's offer and was even more surprised to hear that they were willing to give her a place to stay so that she didn't have to live with her family anymore. A flicker of happiness sparked in the youth as she eagerly agreed with a smile for the first time in a long while and set out with the stranger to her new home.

During this new point in her life, she learned that the stranger was called Diane and that they belonged to a community who sought out individuals with unique skill-sets and often did charitable deeds such as removing someone out of a bad living situation or providing a food supply for those that couldn't afford it normally. It was during this period of her life that she learned special values such as compassion and kindness towards others, as well as honesty and that those around her could be trusted. Over time, Marilyn changed into a much better feline (though she did retain a few of her more unsavory traits) and had begun devoting herself to helping others like her that had been in one of the most darkest points of their life and saving them from committing to a decision that could of destroyed everything for them. She was immensely thankful that Diane had come around to help her when she did and even more grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing community that helped as many individuals or groups as they could. It was then, that she had realized that she finally had somewhere that she belonged and that just a few acts of kindness could go quite a long way into helping and changing others. She was for once in her life, very very happy.

Well.. until she woke up in limbo. She had been rather confused, scared and alone. Of course until a rather strange looking cat had appeared to apparently whisk her away somewhere else. By then, she was definitely even more confused. Her memories leading up to limbo were.... foggy at best. There were definitely a lot of pieces missing. Though she could faintly recall a few memories that involved a fair amount of yelling and someone calling her name. But other than that, she couldn't remember how she ended up in limbo.

It was her second gathering and it was amazing so far! She could hear several cats chattering away about "Starclan", random tidbits of gossip and other things as she navigated her way past them. Her orbs scanned the crowds as her nerves kicked in a bit, seeking someone that she knew or trusted to help her escape from the cluster of felines and voices. Just as she thought that she was completely alone, her orbs caught a flicker of tan and red fur in a small area nearby. A swell of hope rose up in the youth as she surged through a random group of apprentice's, offering up a few apologies as she did so while dipping and weaving her way towards her objective. She had finally squeezed her way out of the masses of cats, her eyes alighting upon the other's familiar pelt as she let out a unusually high pitched yell while practically throwing herself at them. "RED!!!"

She had just been in a conversation with "Red" when an unfamiliar scent hit her nostrils. At that moment, she had thought nothing of it until Red had sharply barked at her to stick close to him. Her orbs widened a bit as she finally then took in her surroundings, noticing how cats of all clans began to group up together and began to move away from the outskirts. A trace of fear shot through her as she managed to keep a somewhat calm yet concerned expression upon her facial features as she pressed to Red's side. "What do we do?" She whispered as her orbs flicked from shadow to shadow, as if she was expecting someone to jump out at her.
